Happy Premie Day to my favorite premies!

With Cyril and Paxton turning a healthy 15 months, how could I not thank the wonderful NICU staff that helped us through the very first month of their lives?  Unless you have been in this position, you will never know what a mom feels like when they have to "wait" to hold their baby for the first time, or be discharged without your child, or go home to an empty crib with no child.  We were fortunate enough to have the boys at 35 1/2 weeks, Cyril weighing at 6lbs 3 oz and Paxton weighing in at 4lbs 11oz.  They were born early and had to stay in the NICU for about 3 weeks.  The nurses were there for every question, and concern we had.  Even though most of the time we were in the NICU were for feeding issues we are so grateful for the wonderful staff the boys had looking after them for their first few weeks of life.
